My name is Nick Bolias and I am looking forward to kicking this thing off. I am from Monessen, home of the Monessen Greyhounds, which is about 40 minutes from campus. I played 3 sports and had a pretty good year getting a section title in football, soccer and basketball. In basketball Monessen is a Class A school but we play up in class and won the WPIAL Class AA Championship. Our head coach, Joe Salvino, got his 500th victory during my senior year.
I chose Pitt-Greensburg because I was looking for a good education at a smaller school. I am not sure what direction I want to go with a major and Pitt has a lot of options. I really liked the campus during my visit and look forward to meeting everyone.
